On January 11th, I received an Angelstudio Gus. I traded her for Link, my Angelheim Luka. I only updated her pictures on 17 march, because I wasn't sure how I would name her. After a month of thinking, her name became Nova.
The only thing I don't like abour her are her eyelashes. I'm not fond of changing them, since I'm a big noob, but I guess I have to. They annoy me a lot!
Someone knows how to change the colour of the tip of her nose? It's very yellow compared to her normal skincolour.
I like her! ^^

Sunshine

Yesterday, the sun shone brightly after a rainy day. Today is even rainy and pretty cold again.
Luckily, the ground was dry, so I took Mariko out with my two camera's. (Yes, two camera's since one of them died halfway because of low batteries.)
Our garden is long and full of flowers and other plants. It's an amazing place to take photo's with your dolls. I never have to go far for some nice pictures. ^^
And since already a long time, we have a scratching post for Kanon and Mushti, our two cats. I thought it was a nice idea to dress Mariko as a cat and let her sit in it. She's a fine cat, isn't she?
The colours are edited to make them look happy, because of the sunshine, except for two of them. My boyfriend and I weren't able to make Mariko look bright without ruining the pictures. -_-"

I took this one on the grave of my cat Shere Khan. Those roses where the only ones that were already withering. Some of them weren't even open.

1) Why do you like BJDs?
Because they look very beautiful and are very realistic. I have always loved pure perfection, which BJD's can very easily express.
2) Do you own any? If so how many and if not, do you have any plans to at the moment?
I have currently three dolls and do not have plans for another one. There are some dolls on my wishlist, but I'm saving my money for a bow. I love archery.
3) Post a picture of all your dolls!
4) What/who was the first BJD you ever owned? Do you still own them? (Who is your planned first?)
Mariko is my first doll and I still have her. I'm still very proud of her and will never do her away. She means a lot for me.
My first planned doll was an Angel Fantasy. I can't find her name, but I still have a picture of her.
I had already a name for her, but the price was too high and I decided to look for a cheaper doll. After all, she isn't my dreamdoll anymore. her face isn't pretty. I guess only the wig drew my attraction and that's not a good thing since the wig can be changed.
My second dreamdoll was B&G Nailo the Elf. He's amazingly pretty. I wanted to pay 500 euro's for him, but then I found out he was limited and I couldn't buy him anymore. That was disappointing. There is also an unlimited human version, but that's not the same. I love his sharp, long nails and pointed ears..
And then I saw Dollzone Ani.
5) What/who was the very first BJD you saw?
Dolls of Tom and Bill from the German band Tokio Hotel. I had no idea that were BJD's and loved them. After two years, I saw other BJD's on the internet and searched for their name. That's how it started, but I can't remember which ones were the firsts.
6) Biggest size you own? (Have held/seen/like)
Echo is 58 cm tall.
7) Smallest size you own? (Have held/seen/like)
Mariko is 25 cm tall.
8) What is your favourite size?
Yo-sd because it's cute, simple and handy. SD's are amazing to see, but they aren't very handy, don't you think?
MSD's are nice to handle, but I still prefer Yo-sd.
9) What is your least favourite size?
I guess that would be smaller than 25 cm. That would be way too little.
10) Post a picture of a doll and an animal!
11) What kind of doll do you prefer, girl or boy?
Girls, because I love Lolita clothes. I love it to dress them in Lolita or other sweet things. My only boy is very boyish, so I can't let him crossdress. That won't be right.
12) What do your friends think of your dolls/dolls in general?
They think I'm crazy spending so many money on dolls. They think my dolls are pretty, but they don't get the point of paying so much.

I still have some, but I don't have pictures of them. Link is currently shoeless (oops).
14) Have you ever had a floating head? What about a headless body? (What do you think you would do if you had either?)
I do have a floating head. I bought it a while ago for trying face-ups on it. After all, I still didn't do that and I'm searching for a cheap body.
For a headless body, I would search a head for it or sell it.
15) What do your family think of your dolls?
My mother likes them and my sister and dad just agree the fact that I'm obsessed with dolls.
16) Can any of your crew stand on their heads? (Show us~)
Wow, I don't know if they can. I'll try it and show you the pictures later.
17) What is your favourite item of dollie clothing?
This is the first doll item I ever bought. I bought it to check if the dealer was trust able. A doll is worth much, so paying without checking it it's okay is a little dumb, don't you think?
It's an amazing dress and looks very cute. It is well made and makes Mariko look like candy.
I absolutely love it.
18) Do you have a favourite company?
I guess DollZone, because of Mariko. But Angelheim and AngelFantasy are surely my favourites too.
19) A least favourite company?
Resinsoul. Their dolls are nice, but their body's are so weird.
20) What is your dream doll?
B&G Nailo - Elf and Soom Azur.
I have always loved mermaids. He's perfect.
21) One doll you love, but will never (probably) buy?
Bambicrony Ellen because she has the same name as me and P.T. Doll Candy. She's cute, but I don't want to own neither.

The price and waiting time, but I knew this when I started the hobby. I may not whine.

No, I never did and won't do that. A doll has to stay original, I think. But I can accept it if you want to give your dolls fangs or something. Whole modifications seem terrible to me.

I'm only afraid of ruining it.

On 21 November, the clouds fell on earth. It was all misty and perfect for a photoshoot, so I took Mariko outside with my camera. It wasn't fun since Mariko weared a cape which I took off because it didn't fit the outfit. I hung it on something and heard our dog playing with it after a few photo's. As fast as I could, I took it back, but it was already too late... The cape lost a ponpon and was all dirty.
I was angry and sad and tried to wash the cape along with other clothes of Mariko which weren't that clean anymore. The dirt came off and the ponpon could be easily fixed. Luckily!
After a long time of having no time to do this, I posted these pictures online, today. I'm not angry anymore at my dog. He wouldn't even remember what he did, so what is the purpose of staying angry?
Tomorrow will be the day I ordered my first Doll clothing a year ago. Time flies, I do have three dolls already. I can still remember how happy I was receiving my first Doll clothing. I took an old barbie and let her wear it, because I wanted to show it to everyone. I'm still very happy with my hobby, but I don't think I want to have another doll. Three is enough for me. Only a body would be welcome for my floating head.
